Look - attached to that camera!
It's a bat...
It's a spider...
No, it's GORILLAPOD!
Yes, it's Gorillapod, who can hang alongside mighty rivers.
Bend around steel railings with his bare pods
And who, whether perched on rocks or twisted around trees,
Fights an on-going battle for true color, focus, and more stable digital photos.
Gorillapod was one of Laura's Christmas gifts, but she quickly realized that there was much more to him than just a flexible tripod! That spirit of adventure...not to mention personality oozing out of every pod.
Podguy vs. Scorpion Robot
After Christmas, Podguy traveled to Yosemite, where he admired the famous view.
Podguy watches El Capitan from the dashboard.
And admires the other sights in Yosemite, like Half Dome...
And even does his impression of the Three Brothers.
Podguy demonstrates his flexibility...
...And his strength...
...and his ability to adapt to many different surfaces.
Podguy discovers that pods make decent ice skates...
...but lousy snowshoes.
Look ma - no hands!
Podguy had fun playing in the snow...making strange podprints...
Getting a close-up look at ice crystals...
...And building a snowpodguy.
He even found a natural (though somewhat primitive) Podguy.
Up on the old Big Oak Flat Road Podguy admires the view of El Capitan...and helps Laura take pictures like this and this.
Even hard-working Podguys have to rest sometimes!
